I like to pretend that breast cancer isn't part of my life, and most of the time I don't really spend a lot of time thinking about it. Sure the scars from the mastectomy burn brightly but after I put on my t-shirt, admire my now flattened stomach from the reconstruction...poof, it's out of my mind.
Until the dreaded tests. One which is tomorrow...my favourite one: MRI time at Mt. Sinai.
No wonder I'm agitated, it's not just pms after all.
Wish me luck.

Sending good vibes your way for tomorrow.
The wine will be chilled and the chocolate cake waiting for you!!
Wow. I had no idea. My first reaction is sheer admiration and relief for your having made it through such an ordeal. I'm sure it's lent you so much perspective on life — something I think many people lack these days.
Hopefully the tests will pass quickly without too much dreadedness. I send you happy thoughts and wishes in the meantime. Reward yourself with something lovely afterwards :)
